Babies are a blessing...

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to bless Brooklyn. What a fun and wonderful weekend. Colton and I had our parents up, so Brooklyn got to soak in a lot of grandma and grandpa time.  Saturday Colt and I prepared for the big day. We got the house all dolled up, cooked and baked for hours, and enjoyed our little princess. When both set of grandparents arrived we decided to go to dinner at Golden Corral. As we sat at our table, a glanced to another table where this man and woman were seated. I stared for a long time (very polite I know) and it hit me, the man was Rowland from this last season of the Biggest Loser. Rowland was the Olympic wrestler trying to shed some pounds. I thought it was so cool! Of all the places, we saw him there. REAL COOL! Finally the big day arrived. Brooklyn's blessing was awesome! Colton did a great job, little does colton know, but he brought tears to my eyes (that isn't saying much). After, we had a little get together with family and friends and ate to our hearts content. What a blessing to have so many friends and family that support us, even those that couldn't be there. The Gospel is so amazing, especially the family part of it. These past few months, I've recognized that family means so much. Without family, I would be lost. It means a little differently to me now that I have started my own family. Brooklyn and Colton mean the absolute world to me and I thank Heavenly Father everyday for bringing them into my life. They are my light and joy.
